2027 New Year Challenge! First Shrine Visit Trail Run (2027年 新春チャレンジ！初詣トレイルラン)
About the event
This New Year trail run starts in Minoh, Osaka, and heads for Katsuoji Temple, known as a temple of victory, where participants visit the temple and try the daruma fortune slips. The group shares goals for 2027 together. Breaks are built in, steep climbs are walked, and the course is generally easy to run, so first-time trail runners can take part.
The event is run by Trail Runners Osaka and is not organized or co-organized by Katsuoji Temple. Ordinary worshippers take priority within the temple grounds.
It is led by a trail running coach with more than 15 years of trail running and over 14 years of coaching experience. The organizer holds a moshicom rating of about 4.79 across more than 1,600 reviews and has won the platform's user satisfaction award two years in a row.
