2027 Daimonji 100 (24 km, 48 km, 72 km, 100 km) (2027 大文字100（24km・48km・72km・100km）)

Daimonji 100 is a loop-style trail race in the hills around Mt. Daimonji, starting and finishing at Sosui Park in Yamashina, Kyoto. Each loop is about 12 km: roughly 8 km of trail, 3 km of paved road and 1 km of forest road, with about 560 m of climbing and a high point of about 400 m. Rocky sections and technical descents are few, and the course is well marked, which makes it approachable even for those attempting a first 100 km trail race. Aid is available at the venue every 12 km.
The 100 km division is nine loops, about 108 km in real distance with around 5,040 m of climbing, so it remains a real ultra trail effort. Runners can pick from 24 km (two loops), 48 km (four loops), 72 km (six loops) and 100 km. No previous finishing record is required, and the venue is about a 15-minute walk from JR Yamashina Station.
