1st Yao Race CHALLENGE RACE (第1回八尾CHALLENGE RACE)

Nestled within the lush landscapes of Osaka's Kuhouji Green Space, the Hachioji Challenge Race invites runners to explore its diverse terrain and vibrant atmosphere. This scenic course spans across three distinct areas: East District, Nakajiki Zone, and North Region.
The race offers a range of distances for all levels of participants. The full marathon route covers 30 kilometers in total, while the half marathon is set at 21 kilometers. For those looking for shorter but equally exhilarating experiences, there are options to run either a 10-kilometer course or a more manageable 5-kilometer loop.
Participants will meander through picturesque paths that wind around serene lakes and lush greenery within Kuhouji Green Space. The terrain is mostly flat with gentle inclines, making it ideal for runners of all abilities. Each lap measures approximately three kilometers, providing ample opportunities to soak in the natural beauty surrounding you.
Registration fees vary depending on the distance chosen:
- 30km: ¥6,000 (¥7,000 on race day)
- 21km: ¥5,000 (¥6,000 on race day)
- 10km: ¥4,000 (¥5,000 on race day)
- 5km: ¥3,500 (¥4,500 on race day)
Additionally, there is a special category for young runners and families. The Junior Race welcomes participants from lower elementary to upper grades at a cost of ¥2,000 (¥3,000 on race day), while the Family Relay invites parents and children to team up in a unique relay format priced at ¥5,000 (¥6,000 on race day).
