Zoo Move & Groove 5K

Immerse yourself in a magical evening at the Phoenix Zoo for the annual Zoo Move & Groove 5K. This unique race takes runners through the enchanting Papago Park and into the dazzling world of ZooLights, where thousands of twinkling lights transform the zoo grounds into an unforgettable spectacle. Participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt, admission to ZooLights, and a warm cup of hot cocoa as part of their registration.
Before the start time, enjoy up-close encounters with some of the zoo's residents at interactive animal stations. After crossing the finish line, stick around for special activities in the lakeside area where you can continue to explore the festive atmosphere. Top three finishers will also be awarded exciting prizes!
This event is not just a race; it’s an experience that combines fitness and fun with family-friendly entertainment and educational opportunities. By participating, runners contribute directly to the completion of the Doornbos Animal Rescue and Care Center (Doornbos ARCC), which aims to support animals in their most vulnerable moments.
