Yorkshire Weekend Saunter Series in Bingley

The Yorkshire Weekend Saunter Series 2027 offers an inviting escape into the scenic beauty of Yorkshire’s countryside. Designed to cater to all levels of fitness and experience, this series invites runners, joggers, and walkers alike to enjoy a relaxed weekend filled with stunning landscapes and friendly community spirit.
Set against the backdrop of Bingley's picturesque Fisherman Inn on Wagon Lane, participants can choose from three distance options: 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon. Each route weaves through beautiful Yorkshire countryside, offering breathtaking views and an atmosphere that welcomes everyone—from beginners to seasoned runners.
Participants are encouraged to simply turn up on race day with cash in hand for a hassle-free entry experience. Registration opens at the Fisherman Inn starting from early morning, allowing plenty of time before each event’s start.
The 5K run begins registration at 8:00 am and starts promptly at 8:45 am, while the 10K follows with registration beginning at 8:00 am and a start time of 9:00 am. The Half Marathon offers an earlier morning schedule, kicking off registration at 7:30 am for those who wish to tackle the longer distance.
All participants will receive finisher rewards including a unique jumble medal as well as their choice between refreshing beer or soft drinks upon completion.
