XII Myshkinskiy polumarafon «Po shesti kholmam» – 2027

On May 16, 2027, runners will gather in the charming town of Myshkin for the annual "Six Hills Half Marathon." This scenic race has been a beloved tradition since its inception in 2015. Participants can look forward to exploring the picturesque streets and breathtaking views along the Volga River.
The half marathon course winds through historic landmarks and vibrant neighborhoods, offering runners an intimate glimpse into Myshkin's rich cultural heritage. With over twenty museums scattered throughout the town, there are ample opportunities for visitors to delve deeper into local history and art between races or during downtime with family and friends.
One of the race’s most distinctive features is its stunning backdrop of bright orange poppy fields that dot the landscape in May, creating a vivid contrast against lush greenery. The route itself presents varying elevations as it traverses six distinct hills, providing both challenge and reward for runners seeking an engaging yet scenic experience.
Participants must obtain medical clearance from their physician to ensure they are fit for participation. This includes presenting either an original or certified copy of the necessary medical documentation issued in accordance with Russian Ministry of Health regulations. The document should clearly state the runner's full name, date of birth, health group classification, and any specific distance limitations recommended by a licensed doctor.
For detailed course maps and elevation profiles as well as information on how to collect your race packet, stay tuned for updates leading up to May 16th.
This event promises not only athletic competition but also an immersive cultural experience in one of Russia's most enchanting small towns.
