X Carrera por Montaña de Zafra

On January 17, 2027, runners will gather at the heart of Zafra for an exhilarating trail running experience. The event takes place from early morning to late afternoon, starting promptly at 7:00 AM and concluding around 3:00 PM.
Participants can choose between two challenging routes designed to cater to different levels of expertise. For seasoned trail runners looking for an extra challenge, the Trail Largo presents a more ambitious option covering 27 kilometers and boasting an impressive ascent of around 1300 meters. Both courses are marked with clear signage to guide participants throughout their journey.
The event begins and ends at Plaza Grande in Zafra, offering competitors a picturesque setting amidst historic architecture before they venture out into the surrounding countryside. The trails wind through lush landscapes, showcasing rolling hills, dense forests, and open meadows as runners navigate rugged terrain filled with technical sections that test endurance and agility alike.
Whether you're an experienced trail runner or looking to push your limits in a scenic environment, this event promises an unforgettable day of competition and camaraderie.
