About the Event

Runners of all ages are invited to participate in an exciting day at VyStar Baseball Park on January 30, 2027. The event features two races: a competitive 5K race and a fun one-mile run/walk.
The 5K begins at 8:30 AM sharp, offering both individual and team competition opportunities. Teams can consist of an unlimited number of members but only the top five finishers' times will count towards their overall score. Each participant in this race receives a chip timing bib to ensure accurate results for awards.
For those looking for a more relaxed experience, there's also a one-mile fun run/walk starting at 9:30 AM. This event is not timed individually but does allow runners to form teams if they wish. Both races conclude with a festive post-race celebration in the Centerfield Plaza area of VyStar Baseball Park.
All participants will receive custom race shirts, and medals are awarded to all finishers regardless of their pace or placement. The 5K also includes overall awards as well as age-group prizes for individual runners. Team trophies will be given out based on cumulative performance by each team's top five members.
Race packets can be picked up ahead of time at any First Place Sports location from January 28 to the morning of race day, ensuring a smooth start for participants who prefer not to wait in line early Saturday morning. Unclaimed packets are moved to the event site starting at 7 AM on race day itself.
The scenic course winds through and around VyStar Baseball Park, providing runners with unique views during their run or walk. Join us for an enjoyable day of fitness, camaraderie, and celebration!

About Jacksonville

Learn more about the host city, Jacksonville.

Jacksonville, colloquially nicknamed Jax, is the most populous city proper in the U.S. state of Florida, located on the Atlantic coast of northeastern Florida. It is the seat of government of Duval County, with which the city consolidated in 1968. It is the tenth-most populous U.S. city and the largest city in the Southeast, with a population of 949,611 at the 2020 U.S. census. The Jacksonville metropolitan area, at over 1.76 million residents, is the fourth-largest metropolitan area in Florida and 38th-largest in the United States.
