Nestled along the scenic San Antonio River Walk south of Mission County Park, this event offers runners a peaceful yet exhilarating experience.
The half marathon begins at 7:15 AM with an out-and-back course that allows participants to catch glimpses of fellow competitors and strategize their race pace. The 10k starts just after the sun has risen fully at 8:00 AM, while the shorter distances provide a more accessible entry point for runners of all levels. Competitive walkers can join in on the action starting at 8:40 AM, followed by an energetic Fun Run for kids and families at 8:45 AM.
The event’s finish line is where the real fun begins – with a vibrant Fiesta-themed after-party that invites everyone to celebrate their achievements together. With no naps allowed during the race (unless you're dreaming of victory), runners can look forward to an unforgettable post-race atmosphere filled with music, food, and camaraderie.
Packet pickup for participants will take place at Fleet Feet San Antonio Culebra Commons on April 24th from 4 PM to 7 PM or early on the morning of race day starting at 6:30 AM. Race-day registrations are also welcome but may result in limited availability for merchandise and shirts, which can be ordered later if needed.
Awards will be given out across various age categories up to 90+ years old, with top male and female finishers receiving special recognition based on gun time. Age group awards will be determined by chip times due to staggered start waves. Prizes await the first-place winners in each distance race as well as those who excel within their respective age groups.
