Dive into the rugged beauty of Wildwood Canyon State Park with the 3rd Annual Wildwood Canyon Trail Runs, presented by Yucaipa Adventure Company. Nestled in the rolling hills of Yucaipa, California, this year’s edition offers two distinct challenges that cater to a variety of trail running enthusiasts.
The 8-Hour Endurance Challenge invites runners to push their limits on an enchanting 3.7-mile loop through Wildwood Canyon's scenic trails. Featuring approximately 600 feet of elevation gain per lap, participants will experience challenging climbs and rewarding descents as they navigate the park’s oak-lined paths and sweeping meadows. The race begins at 8:00 AM with a final cutoff for new laps set at 3:15 PM.
For those seeking a more compact adventure, the Wildwood Canyon 6K offers one lap of the same stunning course. With nearly 600 feet of climbing over its 3.7-mile route, this race is perfect for first-time trail runners and experienced athletes alike. The start time is set at 8:20 AM on October 30, 2027.
Both events are hosted in a welcoming atmosphere that celebrates the spirit of community and adventure. Aid stations will be available throughout the course to provide essential hydration and nutrition support, while designated crew areas ensure runners have all they need for their endurance journey.
