Whiteface Mountain Races

On May 22, 2027, runners converge at Whiteface Alpine Resort for the SkyRace, an epic journey through some of New York's most challenging terrain. Nestled within the Adirondack High Peaks, this race offers a brutal yet breathtaking experience that tests every aspect of your running prowess.
The half marathon and full marathon routes feature two distinct loops, each combining 7 miles on the alpine side with six rolling miles along Flume loop MTB trails. The ascent is relentless, with steep climbs through snow-covered upper elevations and muddy patches, while descents are equally punishing, demanding technical footwork and endurance.
Surrounded by Olympians' footsteps and world-class mountain runners, you'll push your limits amidst stunning natural beauty.
