WESTONBIRT LAPPED ULTRA - 3HR / 6HR / 12HR

Set against the stunning backdrop of Westonbirt Arboretum, the Lapped Ultra offers runners a unique endurance challenge through one of England's most picturesque woodland settings. Located just southwest of Tetbury in Gloucestershire, this 5-mile loop winds through the iconic arboretum trails, featuring over 15,000 trees and shrubs across its expansive 600 acres.
Participants can choose from three time-limited categories: a grueling 12-hour challenge, a more manageable 6-hour option, or a shorter but equally intense 3-hour race. Whether running solo or as part of a team, the goal is simple yet ambitious—complete as many laps as possible within your chosen timeframe.
The event promises a relaxed and competitive atmosphere, with ample opportunities to rest between laps at well-stocked aid stations located halfway around the loop and near the start/finish area. These stations offer hydration and nutrition options tailored for endurance runners, ensuring you stay fueled throughout your race day adventure.
Westonbirt Arboretum’s serene environment provides a perfect setting for this unique ultra experience, where every lap is an achievement celebrated by fellow competitors. Runners can push their limits or simply enjoy the beauty of the arboretum at their own pace. Whether aiming to cover marathon distance or attempting your first ultra, the Westonbrot Lapped Ultra offers a memorable and scenic running journey.
The race starts on September 19, 2027, with start times for each category ensuring you can find an event that suits your endurance goals and personal schedule.
