Well Run X Far Peak: 10k, Half Marathon, 1k & 3k Kids Fun Runs
About the Event
Well Run 2026 is set to welcome participants of all ages and abilities with its inclusive spirit and picturesque setting in the Cotswolds. Scheduled for Sunday, November 22nd, 2026, this year's edition will feature a new half marathon alongside the established 10k race, as well as fun runs designed specifically for children. The WellRun Kids Fun Runs offer young participants aged between 3 and 14 years old an engaging cross-country experience with either a 1km or 3km undulating course. The races begin at 9:00 am for the shorter distance and 9:15 am for the longer one, ensuring that children receive plenty of support and encouragement throughout their journey. For adult runners, WellRun's half marathon offers an exciting challenge starting at 10:00 am, followed by the traditional 10k race beginning at 10:30 am. Both events wind through undulating roads in Northleach, offering stunning views of the Cotswolds countryside to participants aged 15 and up for the 10k and those who are 18 or older for the half marathon. Race day will be filled with a sense of community as runners gather at Far Peak. Prizes will be awarded to top male and female finishers in both races, along with first-place winners from each age category. Additionally, there will be spot prizes given out randomly throughout the event to thank participants for their support. Refreshments are available post-race at The Old Smokery located near Race HQ. Pre-entries can be secured until November 19th, or race day if space permits. On-site registration is also an option with ample parking provided at Far Peak. Participants must collect their race numbers on the morning of the event and attend mandatory briefings before each run to ensure they are familiar with course details and safety guidelines. Bibs should be worn visibly throughout the races for accurate timing, and no listening devices are allowed due to the open road environment. Well Run 2026 promises a memorable day out in one of England's most scenic regions, fostering camaraderie among runners while promoting physical activity and mental well-being.
