The race takes place on Thursday, November 27, at 8:00 AM, starting just outside the Great American Pub located at 4 West Avenue, Wayne, PA. Registration fees are $30 for adults (18+), $20 for students, and children under five can join free of charge. Participants will receive a t-shirt upon registration, which is available online until midnight on November 27 or in person starting at 6:30 AM the day of the race. Race packets can be picked up ahead of time at the Great American Pub from Tuesday, November 25, between 5:00 and 7:00 PM. On-site packet pick-up will also take place on Thanksgiving morning from 6:30 to 7:45 AM for those who prefer last-minute preparation. The event promises a lively atmosphere with the start and finish line located in downtown Wayne's bustling heart, offering runners scenic views of the charming town while they race. The route winds through picturesque streets lined with autumn foliage, creating an idyllic backdrop for this annual tradition. Prizes will be awarded to the top male-identified, female-identified, and non-binary identified finishers, adding a competitive edge to the event. Participants are encouraged to stick around after crossing the finish line to enjoy a post-race celebration at the Great American Pub, where they can socialize with fellow runners or simply relax. For those unable to join in person but still wish to participate, virtual race options are available from Thanksgiving morning until 10:00 AM EST on Sunday, December 1. Virtual participants will also receive a t-shirt mailed directly to their address upon registration. Considering the large area served by the Wayne post office, the community may extend slightly into Easttown Township, Chester County, as well.
