2026 Hwasun Dolmen Marathon

On December 6, 2026, runners will gather at Hwasun Public Stadium for the annual Hwasun Dolmen Marathon. The race offers three distances: a half marathon (21.0975 km), a 10-kilometer run, and a family-friendly 5-kilometer fun run. Participants can expect to traverse scenic routes that showcase Hwasun County’s rich cultural heritage, including historic dolmens scattered along the course.
Registration opens on October 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM (KST) and closes on November 10, 2026, or earlier if all spots are filled. The half marathon starts promptly at 8:30 AM, followed by the 10-kilometer race at 8:40 AM and the 5-kilometer run at 8:50 AM.
All participants receive a race bib, post-race snacks, a finisher medal, and participant insurance. Those competing in the half marathon or 10 kilometers also get a timing chip for accurate results and a mobile race certificate via text message. The event is organized by the Hwasun Athletics Federation under the guidance of the Hwasun County Sports Council.
