VuurtorenTrail & WALK op Ameland

Welcome to the LOWA Vuurtorentrail & Walk on Ameland, where nature and adventure come together for an unforgettable weekend. On March 13, 2027, participants can choose from four unique routes: the Ultra Trail (60km), Canitrail (18km with dog), and two walking options (35km and 25km). Each route is clearly marked without loops or repetitions, taking runners through stunning dunes, beaches, forests, and nature reserves.
The event offers a blend of challenging terrain featuring single-track paths in pristine natural areas. Along the way, participants will enjoy excellent support with energy stations and professional photography at key points. The atmosphere is enhanced by enthusiastic volunteers who ensure safety and provide top-notch assistance throughout the race day.
Registration includes entry to one of these routes along with an exclusive ferry ticket for transportation from the mainland to Ameland. Participants must book their own return trip on a preferred date, ensuring they secure a spot aboard and avoid queues at departure ports.
The LOWA Vuurtorentrail & Walk promises not only scenic beauty but also the chance to experience the unique charm of Wadden Sea Island Ameland through its diverse trails designed for all levels of runners. Don't miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in one of the most beautiful nature trails in the Netherlands.
