Join us on May 29, 2027, for the second edition of the Pier Run, now renamed to FishRun. This year's race offers distances of either 8.2 km or 15 km, with a special kids' option at 2.7 km. The event takes place along an iconic pier, offering breathtaking views and a unique running experience. Participants can choose from scenic coastal routes that showcase the area’s stunning waterfront scenery while supporting KWF Kankerbestrijding and KiKa in their fight against cancer. Whether you're racing solo or with friends, this run promises to be both challenging and rewarding. About IJmuiden

IJmuiden is a port town in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is the main town in the municipality of Velsen which lies mainly to the south-east. Including its large sea locks, it straddles the mouth of the North Sea Canal to Amsterdam. To the south it abuts a large reserve of plant-covered dunes, the Zuid-Kennemerland National Park. The town is on the south bank; the north bank is otherwise a steel plant and Velsen-Noord.
