Veteran’s Lorton 5k, 10k, & 1M

Experience a breathtaking run through Mason Neck State Park, where nature enthusiasts can enjoy a flat course along scenic bike paths. The race offers two distances: a 5k and a 10k, both providing runners with the opportunity to immerse themselves in lush greenery and serene surroundings.
For families looking for an engaging day out, there's also a special one-mile fun run designed just for kids, starting simultaneously alongside the main event. This shorter distance allows young participants to enjoy the park’s beauty at their own pace while still being part of the festive atmosphere.
Walkers are warmly invited to join in and soak up the scenic views as they take on either the 5k or 10k route. Whether you're a seasoned runner or simply out for an enjoyable stroll, this event promises a memorable day filled with natural beauty and community spirit.
The flat terrain makes it easy for participants of all skill levels to focus on enjoying the picturesque scenery rather than battling challenging elevation changes. With plenty of space to breathe in fresh air and admire wildlife, Mason Neck State Park provides a perfect backdrop for runners looking to connect with nature while pushing their limits or simply taking part in an invigorating morning activity.
