Venice Beach Half Marathon and 5k

Experience the vibrant energy of Venice Beach as you participate in the upcoming Half Marathon and 5K run scheduled for May 16, 2027. This iconic coastal route offers runners an unforgettable journey along the picturesque California shore.
The course begins at the historic Venice Canals, winding through the heart of the beachside community before reaching the stunning boardwalk lined with palm trees and colorful shops. Participants will enjoy breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean as they run past Venice Beach Park, where surfers catch waves just beyond sight.
For those up for a challenge, the Half Marathon route continues southward along the beachfront promenade, offering runners the opportunity to soak in the warm California sun while traversing smooth asphalt paths. The final miles lead through the bustling Abbot Kinney Boulevard, known for its trendy boutiques and vibrant street art.
The 5K course is equally captivating, taking runners on a scenic route that still captures much of the coastal charm without the full marathon distance. Both distances offer participants a chance to experience the unique blend of natural beauty and urban vitality that defines Venice Beach.
Post-race festivities await at the finish line, where athletes can enjoy refreshments, live music, and meet fellow runners who share their passion for this beloved Southern California destination. Whether you're training for your first 5K or preparing to complete a half marathon, this event promises an exhilarating day filled with fun and camaraderie in one of America's most iconic beach communities.
