Veles Trcha

On November 8, 2026, the city of Veles will host its third annual "Veles Trcha" race to celebrate the liberation day. The event is organized by AK BOREC and features two main races: a children's sprint for various age groups on the track at Zoran Paunov Stadium, and a 5 km recreational run through the city park.
The children’s race includes four age categories running distances of 100m (2020-2021), 200m (2018-2019), 400m (2016-2017) and 400m (2013-2015). Registration for the children’s race is set at MKD 100, which includes a starting number, finisher medal, refreshments, and sponsor gifts. For the recreational run, participants will pay MKD 300 to join in this non-competitive event that circles through the city park.
The adult race starts with a lap on the track before heading into the scenic Gradski Park for four laps around its perimeter. Both races offer medals upon completion along with hydration stations and sponsor gifts. The children's sprint begins at 10:00 AM, while the recreational run kicks off at 11:30 AM.
Participants can register online until October 31st or on-site during designated times before each race day. For more information, visit Facebook and Instagram pages dedicated to "Veles Trcha."
