Valentines Track Run

Saturn Running invites you to the inaugural YMCA Athletics Track Challenge, taking place on February 13, 2027. This unique endurance event offers runners and walkers of all abilities an unparalleled opportunity to push their limits over a 400m outdoor track for up to seven hours. Participants can choose any distance from 3km to the ultra marathon range, with flexibility to start their final lap as late as 6:59 PM.
The venue, located at YMCA Newark and Sherwood Community and Activity Village on Lord Hawke Way in Newark NG24 4FH, provides ample amenities including toilets within the main building. Parking is plentiful but car sharing is encouraged for environmental responsibility.
For those who join Saturn Running as members before entering this event, a £10 discount applies along with guaranteed entry and exclusive mini-me medal pins at every race attended. UK Athletics affiliated club members also receive an additional £2 off their registration fee.
The track's 3k turn point and 5k turn point ensure compliance with UK Athletics distance rules for younger runners while enabling more experienced athletes to tackle half-marathon, marathon, or ultra distances within the time limit. A selection of themed medals will be awarded upon completion of at least 3km, alongside distance-specific pins for those reaching half-marathon lengths and beyond.
A comprehensive aid table is available throughout the event, offering a variety of drinks and snacks including vegan options to keep energy levels up during your run or walk. Additionally, finishers receive an exclusive goody bag filled with treats to celebrate their achievement.
Registration on race day includes number pick-up at the start area before 9:30 AM when the clock starts ticking for this exciting challenge. Don't miss out on making a special milestone in your running journey!
