About the Event

On October 16, 2026, the V Corrida Santos Dumont – CINDACTA II will take place in Curitiba, Paraná. The race begins at midnight within the grounds of CINDACTA II on Av. Prefeito Erasto Gaertner, offering runners a unique start under moonlit skies. Participants can choose between 5K and 10K distances, with both categories catering to male and female athletes.
The 10K route features diverse terrain through Curitiba's vibrant neighborhoods, while the shorter 5K course offers a more compact but equally scenic experience. Both races wind through areas known for their lush greenery and historic architecture, providing runners with an engaging mix of urban and natural landscapes.
Awards include medals for all finishers and special trophies for top overall male and female competitors in both distances. Trophies are also given to the first three places within each age group for 10K participants.
Financial rewards await the top three finishers in each category, with prizes ranging from R$500 down to R$100 for third place. Additionally, the largest running clubs or groups will compete for cash awards based on total number of members registered, up to R$1,000 for first place.
The event promises a festive atmosphere and exciting competition under any weather conditions, celebrating sportsmanship and community spirit in Curitiba's heart.
