About the Event

Embark on an extraordinary journey through the lush landscapes of Araucária for the Cross Run & Duathlon, where nature and athletic prowess converge. On October 12, 2026, participants will gather at Av. São Casemiro near Colônia Cristina to take part in a unique blend of running and cycling that challenges both body and spirit.
The event kicks off with an official opening ceremony at 5:30 AM, followed by the race start at 7:00 AM. The course winds through scenic rural areas, offering runners and cyclists breathtaking views as they navigate varied terrain. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or a recreational enthusiast, this cross run & duathlon promises to be an unforgettable experience.
For those competing in the duathlon, prepare for a grueling yet rewarding challenge that combines running segments of 5KM to 7KM with cycling distances ranging from 20KM to 30KM. The event requires participants to switch seamlessly between running and riding, testing their endurance and versatility on both road and mountain bikes.
Participants must check in their bicycles at the designated area between 5:15 AM and 6:45 AM. After completing the race, cyclists can leave their bikes at Transition Area 2 (T2) once they have finished cycling. The event concludes with a prize ceremony for top finishers around 9:00 AM.
