Welcome to the seventh edition of Ultravandringen, an epic journey through Sweden’s breathtaking landscapes! Are you ready for a long-distance trek with numerous elevation changes? This autumn, runners can choose between two challenging routes: 25km or 50km.
The exact course will be announced during summer 2026. The event promises to offer participants the opportunity to test their endurance and resilience over an extended period on a very long stretch of trail.
For those tackling the shorter distance, expect refreshments along the way with coffee and fruit served halfway through the route. Participants start off with a breakfast roll for energy during the early morning hours.
The 50km course is designed to challenge even the most experienced hikers. A hearty lunch will be provided at around the 30-kilometer mark, complete with fruits, coffee, water, and snacks to keep you fueled throughout your journey. Water stations are strategically placed every 12 kilometers along this longer route.
Both routes culminate in a warm welcome at the finish line where grilled treats await all participants who have made it through their respective courses.
Start times vary: runners on the 50km course will begin early, with an official start time of 6 AM, while those opting for the shorter distance can look forward to starting later at 9 AM.
Expect a pace averaging between 4 and 6 kilometers per hour as you navigate through varied terrain. This event is designed so that everyone has access to a unique experience where they push their limits over an extended period of time.
