Ultra X Kenya 2028 offers runners an unparalleled adventure across East Africa, challenging participants with either a grueling 220km or a more manageable yet still demanding 110km course over five stages. This multi-day race is designed for those seeking to experience the raw beauty and diverse landscapes of Kenya on foot.
The journey begins on Monday, May 10th, setting off from the heart of the Kenyan wilderness with each stage revealing unique terrain and scenery. Participants will traverse through lush forests, cross arid plains, ascend into highlands, and navigate rugged trails as they make their way to the finish line on Friday, May 14th.
For those opting for Standard Entry, a commitment to raising at least £250 for Rhino Ark is required. This charitable initiative supports conservation efforts that protect endangered wildlife in Kenya’s Aberdare Ranges. Alternatively, choosing Charity Inclusive entry will cover this fundraising requirement directly within the race fee.
After completing their final stage on Friday, participants are transferred back to Nairobi where they can rest and celebrate at the Official Race Hotel, which will be announced by June 2028. Accommodation is optional but highly recommended for those wishing to fully immerse themselves in post-race festivities and relaxation.
