The Ultra-Trail d’Angkor features six distinct courses that cater to all levels of participants. From the challenging 100km ultra-distance route to shorter options like an 8km hike or Nordic Walking circuit, there is something for everyone looking to challenge themselves while experiencing this unique setting. The event's exclusive permit allows runners and walkers to traverse through both natural landscapes and historical sites that are otherwise off-limits.
Approved by the Ministry of Culture and supported by the Cambodian Olympic Committee, Ultra-Trail d’Angkor stands out as a celebration not just of athletic achievement but also of cultural heritage. The town of Siem Reap (សៀមរាប), in northern Cambodia, is the primary access point for the Angkor Archaeological Park, just north of the city. It is quite laid-back and a pleasant place to stay while touring the temples.
