Tuscazoar Raw

Tuscazoar Raw, set amidst the rugged trails of Ohio on June 19, 2027, is designed for trail runners seeking an intense and challenging experience. The race offers three distances: a grueling 100K with approximately 9,500 feet of elevation gain, a formidable 50K, and a more accessible but still demanding 25K.
The course begins at the Stockade near Camp Tuscazoar's main parking lot, where runners will navigate through diverse terrain including packed gravel roads and dense forest trails. The route forms a unique figure-eight pattern with two distinct loops: a 19-mile loop followed by an additional 12-mile section for those tackling the longer distances.
Aid stations are strategically placed along the course to ensure hydration and nutrition, offering both water-only stops and full-service aid points complete with salty snacks and sweet treats. Crew access is permitted at select locations throughout the race, allowing supporters to provide encouragement and assistance as needed.
With a 20-hour cutoff time for all distances, Tuscazoar Raw tests runners' endurance and determination on challenging terrain that includes steep climbs and varied landscapes. The event also features an award ceremony with prizes for top male and female finishers in each distance category, alongside race shirts and beer tickets redeemable at Lockport Brewery.
For those interested in the full Tuscazoar Series experience, signing up for all three races offers a 10% discount and exclusive series awards. Participants can pick up their race packets on June 18th from 4-7 PM or on race morning starting at 5:00 AM at the Stockade.
Camp Tuscazoar provides various accommodation options including RV sites, rustic cabins, camping spots, and bunkhouses for a complete immersion in nature before the big day.
