Turkey Day 5K

Join us on November 26, 2026, for the annual Beavercreek Youth Wrestling Thanksgiving Day 5K Run/Walk at Shoup Park. This heartwarming tradition offers runners and walkers of all ages a chance to lace up their shoes in support of local youth wrestling programs.
Race day festivities begin early with packet pick-up from 7:30am to 8:15am, allowing participants ample time to collect their race materials before the start at 8:30am. Pre-race registration is highly recommended as it guarantees a commemorative shirt and ensures you avoid any last-minute rush.
The event offers several convenient parking options with designated spaces available behind Taco Bell near Daysprings Ministries Building, making your arrival stress-free on this special day. The course itself winds through the scenic Shoup Park, providing participants with an enjoyable experience amidst natural beauty while supporting a great cause.
Registration fees vary depending on when you sign up: early registration ends October 31st at $30 for guaranteed shirts; from November 1st to 12th, it’s $35 and also guarantees your shirt. Last-minute registrants can still join by paying $40 but may not receive a race shirt.
Participants are encouraged to maintain a pace of no more than 20 minutes per mile to ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment throughout the event. For those looking for an extra incentive, refer friends using your unique code and earn up to $30 in rewards!
After crossing the finish line, stick around for post-race snacks at Shoup Park as you connect with fellow runners before heading home or out to enjoy Thanksgiving festivities with loved ones.
Results will be updated live on Key Sports' website and via their ITS YOUR RACE app. Overall winners and age group champions will receive awards distributed by race officials immediately following the event, so make sure to stay until all presentations are complete.
Please note that while we aim to host this in-person every year, weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances may necessitate a virtual format instead. In such cases, there won't be any refunds issued, but you will still have access to race shirts and other benefits at a later date if applicable.
