Tur na Moskovskiy marafon 2027

Runners are invited to experience the grandeur of Moscow with the Moscow Marathon and its accompanying 10 km race on September 24, 2027. Participants can choose between two distances: a challenging full marathon or a scenic 10 km course that winds through the heart of Russia's capital city.
The event begins at the iconic Main Building of Lomonosov Moscow State University (MGU) atop Vorobyovy Gory and follows a downhill route along picturesque riverbanks, central streets, and historic landmarks. The finish line awaits at the famous Luzhniki Stadium in an atmosphere charged with energy from thousands of enthusiastic spectators.
In 2026, over 45,000 runners took part in what is now Russia's largest running event. This year promises to be no less spectacular, offering a fast and flat course that has drawn international attention. The marathon route is certified by AIMS standards, ensuring accurate distances for all competitors.
September marks the golden season in Moscow with cool temperatures ideal for racing—around 9-15°C—and clear skies. With generous time limits of six hours for the full marathon and one-and-a-half hours for the shorter distance, this event caters to a wide range of runners aiming to set personal bests or simply enjoy the city's beauty.
In previous years, top athletes have dazzled spectators with impressive performances: in 2026, Ethiopian runner Nurit Shimels won the women’s marathon in an outstanding time of 2 hours and 26 minutes. The men's race saw Kenyan Mika Kipkosgey Chemveno take first place at just over two hours and ten minutes.
Accommodation options are conveniently located within walking distance from the finish line or in historical city centers, making it easy for runners to immerse themselves in Moscow’s vibrant culture before and after the event.
