Dust off your running shoes and come on down to Pierson Park!

Please join Tarrytown Recreation for its annual Trudy Dunbar Memorial 5K Turkey Trot & 1 mile Gobbler Trot on Sunday, November 22, 2026. Runners will "trot" along on the riverwalk, towards the Sleepy Hollow lighthouse and back. Division winners will receive a prize turkey.

Register by 10/31 to receive a t-shirt and early bird pricing. Starting 11/1 (and on race day), fees increase and t-shirts are no longer provided. Register early!

*Race day registration/Check-in & Bib pick-up: 8:30 a.m.-9:15 a.m. in the Tarrytown Senior Building (240 W. Main Street, Tarrytown, NY 10591)

Tarrytown is a village in the town of Greenburgh in Westchester County, New York, United States, in the New York metropolitan area. It is located on the eastern bank of the Hudson River, approximately 25 miles (40 km) north of Midtown Manhattan in New York City, and is served by a stop on the Metro-North Hudson Line. To the north of Tarrytown is the village of Sleepy Hollow.
