Tri Dog Events Weekend, October 2027

Box End Park in Bedfordshire, England, is set to host the Tri Dog Multiple Event Weekend on October 9 and 10, 2027. This unique competition offers five distinct events: triathlon, aquabike, aquathon, duathlon, and canicross. Each event features a mandatory swim of approximately 80 meters in Box End's pristine spring-fed lakes, followed by either biking or running segments with your canine companion.
Participants will experience the picturesque setting of Box End Park, known for its idyllic water sports facilities including two stunning lakes ideal for swimming and wakeboarding. The park’s flat terrain provides a challenging yet manageable course that caters to both novices and experienced athletes alike.
Race day activities begin early with registration from 6:45 am to 7:45 am, followed by the race briefing at 7:20 am on both days. Transition areas are conveniently located for participants to manage their gear efficiently.
The triathlon includes a swim, bikejor/scooter ride of about 2.5 kilometers, and concludes with a canicross run also covering 2.5 kilometers. For those opting for the aquabike event, the biking distance extends to 5 kilometers after the initial swim segment.
Competitors have two categories to choose from: Hare (for seasoned athletes) or Tortoise (designed for beginners). The weekend is not just about racing; it also features a shopping village and camping options on Friday and Saturday nights.
Registration closes at midnight on September 26, with entry fees starting at £35 for single-day participation in most events. For those looking to compete across both days, discounts are available.
Join the Tri Dog weekend and cross your finish line alongside fellow athletes and their furry friends amidst the serene backdrop of Box End Park.
