TRAIL URBAIN DE BARBEZIEUX

On Saturday, November 28, 2026, La Fraternelle Athlétisme Barret Barbezieux (FABB) will host its annual semi-urban trail race. The event features three timed competitions that wind through the heart of the city and into the picturesque countryside south of Charente.
Participants can look forward to a scenic route starting at Gilbert Santiago Stadium, which offers runners an immediate immersion in both urban and natural settings. As they progress along the course, competitors will encounter diverse terrains including paved roads within Barret-Barbezieux and winding trails that lead into serene rural landscapes.
The race concludes back on familiar ground with the finish line set at Renaud Lavillenie Athletics Track, providing a fitting end to an exhilarating day of running. Organizers are excited about creating another memorable and welcoming sports event for all participants to enjoy.
This year's edition promises not only competitive racing but also a sense of community as athletes come together to celebrate the spirit of trail running in one of France’s most charming regions.
