Experience the thrill of the McCullough Hills and the legendary 601 trails at this year's Trail Trashed race! This challenging yet breathtaking course offers runners an unforgettable adventure through wide, groomed paths and rugged single-track trails. Spectacular views of Las Vegas, Henderson, and the surrounding mountains, valleys, and ravines await you as you navigate through terrain that is both awe-inspiring and demanding. The event features a half marathon starting at 9 AM, followed by a 10k at 9:15 AM, a 5k at 9:30 AM, and a kids' mile race at 10 AM. Participants will be treated to an energetic atmosphere with loud music and enthusiastic volunteers along the route. Race day promises plenty of sustenance for all competitors. Hot food such as burgers, hot dogs, pasta dishes, and vegetarian options will be available at both the staging area and hub aid station. Snacks will also be provided on course for runners tackling shorter distances. Virtual participants are welcome to join in spirit and can email their official times within a week of the race date to have them posted online. All virtual runners will receive shirts and medals via mail after the event, recognizing their achievements from afar. Volunteers play an integral part in making this event possible by helping out at various stations for $10 per hour towards future races.
