Situated beneath the awe-inspiring Mont Blanc Massif and bordering Italy and Switzerland, this five-day trail running experience promises a blend of breathtaking scenery, challenging terrain, and camaraderie among like-minded adventurers.
Your journey begins on July 22 with an arrival at Lykke Hotel & Spa Chamonix, nestled in the heart of Chamonix Mont-Blanc. This picturesque alpine town offers not only stunning vistas but also world-class amenities to ensure your comfort throughout the camp. Over four nights and three full days of trail running, you'll explore diverse landscapes that range from lush forests teeming with wildlife to rocky outcrops offering panoramic views.
Each day will feature guided runs led by experienced mountain and trail running guides who are passionate about sharing their knowledge of Chamonix's trails. The itinerary includes a mix of challenging ascents and exhilarating descents, allowing you to test your limits while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow runners. Whether it’s navigating through dense forests or scaling rocky ridges with sweeping views, every step will be rewarded by nature’s grandeur.
On July 23, after an early morning breakfast at Lykke Hotel & Spa Chamonix, you’ll embark on a full day hike/run into the mountains. This guided adventure includes stops at mountain refuges where you can enjoy local cuisine and take in breathtaking vistas before descending back to Chamonix for relaxation and socializing.
The following days offer more opportunities to explore different facets of this majestic valley. Each run is designed to showcase unique trails, from verdant meadows dotted with wildflowers to steep ascents that challenge your endurance. Along the way, you’ll have ample time to bond with fellow participants over meals in charming Chamonix restaurants and casual gatherings at local cafes.
In addition to guided runs, this camp includes a 5km Cham-Shakeout run on arrival day, ensuring everyone is acclimatized before more rigorous hikes begin. Accommodation features bed & breakfast arrangements along with access to the hotel’s pool and spa facilities, perfect for unwinding after each day's exertions.
