The Sacred Forests Trail takes place on Sunday, 31 May 2026 in Badia Prataglia, Tuscany, Italy — the most prestigious tourist center in Casentino, nestled between the oldest and most pristine forests in Europe. This event offers four distances through the Parco Nazionale delle Foreste Casentinesi, Monte Falterona e Campigna, a UNESCO World Heritage site straddling the Apennine ridge between Tuscany and Romagna. Runners will experience endless forests, meadows, clear streams, waterfalls, and mountains in one of Europe's last untouched areas, home to extraordinary flora and fauna.
