The CLUT – Cento Laghi Ultimate Trail takes place on Saturday, 30 May 2026 in Corniglio, Italy, within the beautiful Parchi del Ducato – Parchi dei Cento Laghi, part of the larger Parco Nazionale dell’Appennino Tosco-Emiliano. Organized by PARMARATHON ASD in collaboration with the Comune di Corniglio and local associations, this 2nd edition offers four distances: CLUT 70 (69-70 km), CLUT 32 (31-32 km), CLUT 18 (18-19 km), and CLUT 10 (9-10 km). The event is known and appreciated for its technical characteristics and wonderful scenery across the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, comparable to the Dolomites though at lower overall elevation.

Semi-self-sufficiency is the guiding rule for all distances. Although refreshment points are available along the course, each runner must carry all mandatory gear for the entire duration of the race. At refreshment points, drinks and food are available for on-site consumption, but only natural water is provided for filling bottles or flasks. Each runner must ensure they carry enough water after each stop to reach the next refreshment point. Being accompanied for part or all of the race by a non-registered person is strictly prohibited.
Mandatory equipment for CLUT 70: minimum 0.5L water reserve, food reserve, eco-cup or flask, waterproof wind jacket, whistle, survival blanket, headlamp with spare batteries, mobile phone (with organization safety numbers saved, not hiding your number, charged battery). CLUT 32 requires all of the above except the headlamp. CLUT 18 requires water, food, eco-cup, waterproof wind jacket, whistle, survival blanket, windbreaker, mobile phone. CLUT 10 requires water, food, eco-cup, windbreaker, mobile phone. Recommended items include hat or bandana, warm clothing in case of cold, gloves, personal plate. Suggested items include spare socks, spare shirt, adhesive elastic bandage for strapping. The first mandatory checkpoint is before the start—all mandatory gear will be checked. At least one additional random check of all mandatory gear will occur along the course. Runners found without required equipment will be disqualified.
Eligibility: Italian and foreign athletes who have turned 20 years of age for CLUT 70 and CLUT 32, and 18 years for CLUT 18 and CLUT 10. All participants must possess a valid competitive medical certificate for athletics (for Italian athletes) or an equivalent certificate from their home country for foreign athletes, valid on race day. Members of national federations (FIDAL, World Athletics), Sports Promotion Bodies (UISP, CSI, etc.), and non-members may participate. The chip provided must be returned after the race—failure to do so results in a €50 charge to the participant.
Registration takes place exclusively through the ENDU platform. Once all required data is entered and payment is completed, registration is confirmed. FIDAL members need only enter their membership code. Members of other federations and non-members must upload their documents (membership card and/or competitive medical certificate) to the ENDU portal or send everything to [email protected]. Groups larger than 10 units (across all distances) should write directly to [email protected].
Registration fees vary by distance and registration period (5 November to 31 January, 1 February to 31 March, 1 April to 30 April, 1 May to 29 May). The entry fee includes timing services, medical assistance, shuttle for CLUT 32 (from Corniglio to Lagdei—first bus at 08:30, second bus at 09:30), technical gadget (at the organization's discretion for each distance), finisher medal, awards as per dedicated page, changing rooms and showers, and final pasta party.
Operational race headquarters are located in Piazza Castello, Corniglio (PR). Friday, 29 May open from 15:00 to 21:00. Saturday, 30 May: CLUT 70 from 05:30 to 06:30; CLUT 32 from 07:30 to 10:00; CLUT 18 and CLUT 10 from 13:30 to 15:30. To collect race bib and chip, present a valid ID. The competitive medical certificate can be uploaded to the system, sent via email, or shown during bib pickup.
Refund policy: 70% refund if requested by 30 March. For requests in April, a 50% discount voucher for the following year will be issued. After April, no refunds or vouchers will be granted.
Safety and medical assistance: Civil Protection, Alpine Rescue, and Medical Assistance are present along the course. Rescue points are connected via radio or phone to the race coordinator. Runners in need can present themselves at a rescue point, call the course coordinator directly, or ask another runner to call for help. Rescue personnel and official doctors have the authority to stop a runner (disabling their bib) if deemed unfit to continue and to evacuate runners they consider in danger. In case of need, Alpine Rescue may be called and will take over operations, including helicopter use. Expenses for exceptional rescue means are borne by the person rescued. If unable to contact the course coordinator, runners should call 118 (Italy emergency number).
Refusal to submit to gear checks during competition results in immediate disqualification. The jury consists of the organizing society president, race director, and designated competent persons. All decisions are final and unappealable.
Withdrawal: Except for serious injury, a competitor must withdraw only at refreshment points. The race bib must be immediately returned to the organization. A vehicle may be available to bring withdrawn runners to Corniglio, but transport times may be very long depending on race conditions and withdrawal point. A withdrawn runner is no longer under organization control. Failure to communicate a withdrawal that leads to a search will result in all related expenses being charged to the runner.
The event adheres to the "I do not throw my waste" campaign. Throwing any type of material along the course is strictly forbidden and results in immediate disqualification. Appropriate containers are provided at refreshment zones. No plastic cups will be available at any refreshment point.
The organization reserves the right to modify the course and the location of rescue and refreshment points, communicated before the race or at the briefing. In case of adverse weather conditions (significant rain or snow at altitude, high risk of thunderstorms, etc.), the start may be postponed up to two hours maximum; beyond that, the race is canceled. In case of cancellation due to force majeure, no refund is due to participants. Each competitor expressly waives the right to their image during the race, waiving any claims against the organizer and accredited partners for use of their image.
Participation in the CLUT – Cento Laghi Ultimate Trail implies unreserved acceptance of these regulations.
