The event offers three distinct distances catering to different levels of experience: - La Lanterne (24 km): This longer route begins promptly at 6:15 PM, offering runners an extended adventure through varied terrain.
- La Loupiote (12 km): For those looking for a more manageable distance, this race kicks off half an hour later at 6:45 PM. - La Luciole (8 km): The shortest option starts last at 7:05 PM, providing the perfect introduction to night running or a chance for younger participants to enjoy their first trail experience in darkness. The courses weave through approximately 70% of trails and forest paths, with only 30% on roads. Expect a mix of soft earth tracks, dense woodland sections, and possibly some wetter areas that could turn the ground into mud. Before hitting the trail, there's plenty to do starting in the afternoon: marche nordique events at 2:30 PM followed by children’s races from 5 PM onwards, all free of charge and designed to engage young athletes early.
