DIVA'TRAIL Nocturne

On November 7, 2026, the Festival Committee of La Varenne is set to host the sixth edition of the Trail Nocturne Off race. This unique event offers three distinct courses—10 km, 15 km, and 20 km—all starting at 6:00 PM in front of Salle des Hautes Cartelles and finishing directly inside the local Sports Hall.
The trail runs are illuminated by headlamps which every participant is required to wear. The races take place on a mix of dirt paths and some paved roads, fully marked with clear signage guiding runners through the course. No medical certificate is necessary for this non-competitive event, making it accessible to all levels of fitness enthusiasts.
For younger participants, there are two children's events around Salle des Hautes Cartelles: one for 6 to 8-year-olds covering a distance of 500 meters and another for 9 to 11-year-olds over 1 kilometer. Both races start at the same time as the adult race.
A notable feature of this event is that runners are encouraged to bring their own reusable containers instead of disposable cups, promoting sustainability during the run. At the finish line, all participants in the 10 km, 15 km, and 20 km categories will be treated to a hot meal served inside the Sports Hall.
This nocturnal trail race promises an exciting evening under the stars with scenic routes through La Varenne's illuminated paths and facilities.
