TRAIL des EPEUTNAERTS

Gear up and warm those legs for the return of the Trail des Épeutnaerts in Moringhem, an authentic and festive race that promises to be both challenging and rewarding. The trail offers two distances: 21km with a total elevation gain of 404 meters starting at 5 PM, and a shorter but still scenic 10km route with 164 meters of ascent beginning half an hour later. Both courses wind through rural paths, featuring gentle climbs, reliefs, and the typical landscapes of northern France.
Runners will experience firsthand the charm of this region as they navigate narrow trails that test their endurance while offering picturesque views. Whether you are a seasoned trail runner or someone looking to push your limits for the first time, there is something here for everyone. The race boasts an intimate organization with highly motivated volunteers and a warm atmosphere from start to finish.
The spirit of being "ch'ti" – a term used affectionately by locals in northern France – encourages runners to keep going even when the terrain gets tough, fostering camaraderie among participants. This event is more than just a race; it’s an adventure that combines physical challenge with conviviality and shared joy at crossing the finish line.
