Join us for the 10th edition of the Trail des Bulles, an exciting weekend of running and community spirit near Tours, France! This year’s festivities will kick off on Saturday evening with two races: an 8km route and a more challenging 15km course. On Sunday morning, four additional events are scheduled to cater to various levels of runners, including a scenic 21km trail, another 15km option, and yet another 8km race for solo participants or duos (both mixed-gender and exclusively female teams). Children can also join in the fun with their own Trail des Bubbles event. The Trail des Bulles is more than just a run; it’s an opportunity to support a meaningful cause. This year, we are partnering with Zoe & Le Tourbillon de la Vie Association, which aims to help Zoé—a 20-year-old woman who has faced significant challenges due to meningitis—achieve greater independence through daily care and access to adaptive equipment like wheelchairs and eye-tracking tablets. Set in the picturesque village of Vouvray, known worldwide for its renowned Vouvray wine appellation, this event offers runners a unique blend of natural beauty and cultural richness. The race starts and finishes at Château Moncontour, an impressive castle overlooking the Loire River from atop a hillside vineyard within the UNESCO-listed Val de Loire region. The trails are diverse, winding through lush vineyards, dense forests, and along scenic coteaux of the Loire Valley. Expect varied terrain that includes some urban stretches and technical monotraces with several challenging climbs to keep runners on their toes. Each course offers a unique experience, showcasing the stunning landscapes and rich history of Vouvray. After crossing the finish line, participants are invited to unwind at our celebratory after-party, where they can enjoy local specialties and sparkling wine while sharing stories from the day’s adventures with fellow racers. Group registrations for 10 or more runners are available until September 1st, 2026, providing a chance to secure spots before capacity fills up. Don’t miss out on this memorable event that combines athletic challenge with heartfelt community support and breathtaking scenery! For those attending, remember you can purchase an accompanying person’s buffet pass at the time of registration for easy access to post-race refreshments.
