The 18th Trail des Bezous d’Chataignes invites you to embark on an enchanting journey through the picturesque village of Avessac, starting from the Château du Pordor. The event takes place on Saturday, October 10, 2026. Three courses are available for runners and nature enthusiasts alike: - A challenging 26 km trail commences at 14:00, offering a mix of forest paths and private property passages where you can admire two chateaux. The course features three water stations. - For those seeking a more moderate experience, the 16 km course also begins at 14:30, winding through dense forests and woodland tracks with just two water stops to keep you hydrated. - A family-friendly 9 km route starts at 15:00. Perfect for all ages, this course follows forest trails and paths without significant elevation changes, providing one water station. Children can join in the fun too! Two free races are available: - The mini-race for children born between 2018 and 2020 will start at 14:40 over a distance of 600 meters. - Younger participants born between 2015 and 2017 can run the longer route, starting at 15:10 for 1 kilometer.
