Trail de l'armistice 2ème édition

On November 11, 2026, the Trail de L'Armistice returns for its second edition, blending athletic challenge with historical commemoration and charitable giving. Organized by Condat Athlétisme Club alongside the Association Sportive du Collège Georges Pompidou in Condat, this event offers runners a unique way to honor the sacrifices of World War I veterans while supporting good causes.
Participants can choose between two trail distances: a 5km route for those looking to dip their toes into trail running or simply enjoy some fresh air and scenic views. This shorter course features a modest climb of 150 meters, with an option to run in relays (2x2.5 km) starting at 9:30 AM.
For more seasoned runners seeking a greater challenge, the 14km trail offers a tougher test with 400 meters of elevation gain and starts earlier at 8:30 AM. This route winds through wooded areas, providing both physical and mental stimulation as it honors the memory of local veterans listed on Condat's war memorial.
Both events culminate before the official Armistice Day ceremony at 11:30 AM, ensuring that runners' efforts contribute to a broader community remembrance. Additionally, all proceeds from this event will be split between the Souvenir Français and used for organizing an educational trip for students to Toulon's naval base.
Join Trail de L'Armistice on November 11th to celebrate resilience, pay tribute to history, and support meaningful causes through sport.
