Set against the picturesque backdrop of Saint Brandan, the 24th edition of this beloved race promises an exhilarating experience around the Jaloussée Stadium. The course winds through scenic paths and woods within the commune, offering runners a chance to immerse themselves in nature while tackling challenging terrain.
For those looking for a shorter distance, there are two options: an 8-kilometer route with a climb of 93 meters and a more ambitious 12-kilometer trek that includes a stretch through the enchanting Lorge Forest. Both distances cater to runners who want to enjoy the beauty of Saint Brandan at their own pace.
Competitive athletes can choose from longer courses, ranging from 13 kilometers with an elevation gain of 170 meters to the full marathon distance of 21 kilometers and a steep ascent of 290 meters. These routes provide ample opportunities for runners to test their endurance on varied terrain.
All participants will be treated to hydration stations along both race courses as well as at the finish line, ensuring that everyone remains hydrated throughout their run. Upon crossing the finish line, racers can look forward to receiving a prize or gift from organizers and enjoy refreshments in the post-race area.
Awards are given to the top three male and female competitors in each distance category, along with prizes for the best-performing teams of runners. Additionally, there is a raffle draw exclusively for race participants at the end of their event.
