Experience the beauty of autumn as you embark on the 11th Annual Tour de Midnight, a bike ride that starts and ends at the Midnight Brewery located at 2410 Granite Ridge Road in Rockville, Virginia. This year, the event will offer three distinct routes: a challenging 60-70 mile route for those seeking adventure, a scenic 33-mile journey through Central Virginia’s rolling hills, and a more manageable 17-mile ride perfect for all skill levels. The main route takes riders north on Ashland Road before turning onto VA-271 Pouncey Tract Road. Highlights include the picturesque farms of Rockville, the historic town of Montpelier, breathtaking views like those at Woodson Mill, and stunning vistas of Lake Anna. Each participant will receive a custom pint glass upon completion of their ride, along with two brewery vouchers redeemable for products up to a specified value. For participants looking for a shorter experience or unable to join on the main route, satellite locations have been set up in Northern Virginia at Caboose Brewery and in Chesapeake at Dismal Swamp Canal Trail and Big Ugly Brewery. Riders can enjoy their own distance along bike paths before returning by noon to celebrate with fellow cyclists. After your ride, head over to Midnight Brewery for a post-ride party featuring live music, food trucks, and fun activities like the paint-your-pumpkin-purple contest.
