Strides 4 Unity 3K/5K Walk/Run

Strides 4 Unity is back for its fourth year on Saturday, October 10, 2026, inviting runners and walkers to come together at the Powhatan Village Building located at 3910 Old Buckingham Road, Powhatan, VA. The event offers both a 3K and a 5K course, with registration starting at $20 per person.
Founded in January 2019 by Unity Community Church, Strides 4 Unity is more than just a race; it's an opportunity to support the church’s mission of building community through faith and service. This year's event aims to raise funds for their Building Fund goal, which will help construct a permanent place of worship in Powhatan County.
Participants can expect a scenic route that winds around local landmarks while fostering a sense of unity among runners and walkers alike. The race begins at 9:00am sharp after the initial gathering from 8:30am to 9:00am, providing ample time for warm-ups and socializing with fellow participants.
