About the Event

Welcome to Hvar Island, the sunniest spot in the Mediterranean, where runners will experience a trail race that seamlessly blends mountainous terrain with crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic Sea. The course offers breathtaking views and diverse landscapes, from lush vineyards and fragrant olive groves to ancient pine forests rich in local heritage and culture, including UNESCO sites.
Participants can choose among five distances: 7.5km, 15 km, 23 km, 53 km, and the challenging 102 km route. Each course features pristine single trails that wind through historic ruins and medieval fortresses, providing a unique journey through time while immersing runners in Hvar’s rich cultural tapestry.
After crossing the finish line on May 14, 2027, racers can cool off with a refreshing swim in the warm Mediterranean waters, completing their adventure with a perfect blend of challenge and relaxation.

About Hvar

Learn more about the host city, Hvar.

Scenic view of

Hvar is an island off the coast of Croatia with a population of about 11,000 people (2011). Imposing fortifications hover above the fluid blend of grey stone and orange cascading roofs. The remains of walls built by a long list of invaders descend towards the wide promenade edging the brilliant blue sea and the quaint fishing harbor. Marble streets reveal one of the largest squares in Dalmatia, the prized Cathedral of St. Stephen, and the Renaissance theatre.
