Tough Trails – Reach for the sword 2027

Tough Trails returns to Aalborg for the 2027 edition of Reach for the Sword, inviting runners to experience challenging terrain and natural obstacles. The main race covers approximately 5 kilometers through varied landscapes with over 30 hurdles designed both naturally and artificially.
The course is known for its technical challenges but offers a significantly reduced difficulty level after the elite field has completed their run, making it accessible for all participants looking for an engaging yet manageable experience. Families are also welcome to join in the Family Race, which spans about 3 kilometers with over 20 obstacles tailored for both adults and children.
Participants can expect timed chip tracking, a unique medal upon completion, refreshments at the finish line, and professional photography captures their journey. The event supports OCR Nordjyllands efforts in developing obstacle course racing and fostering strong community bonds among athletes of all skill levels.
