The MERRIEST RACE in Town will be back at The Cedars for its Sixteenth year in 2025!A fundraiser for the Good Samaritan Center, 12Ks for the Holidays Charity Run is a great way to start the holiday season. The 12k run, 5k run and 5k walk traditionally wind through the beautiful historic Fondren neighborhood in Jackson, Mississippi the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Race starts at 7:30 AM.T-shirt is guaranteed for the first 400 runners! T-shirt guaranteed for first fifty children in free "I Ran With Santa" fun run!Saturday, November 21, 2026The funds raised from this year’s 12 Ks for the Holidays help support Good Samaritan Center and our Christmas Assistance program. This year, Good Sam plans to assist children and families with toys and holiday food baskets as well as seniors with Christmas presents.DAY OF REGISTRATION will be available but will be $60/runner with shirt, no discounts allowed (if shirt available), $35/runner without shirt.
