About the Event

The Timișoara Triathlon is a unique urban sporting event scheduled for July 18-19, 2026. It is the only triathlon in Romania that takes place entirely within a city center, offering a distinctive race experience. The event features multiple race distances including a Half 70.3, Olympic, Sprint, and Supersprint, catering to a wide range of athletes. The course utilizes the city's scenery, with a swim in the Bega River and bike and run segments through the central boulevards and parks. Organized by triathletes for triathletes, it focuses on excellent athlete experience and seamless organization.
