Lace up your sneakers and prepare to dash through the Time Travel Half Marathon (5K/10K) — a family-friendly race that’s truly timeless! Whether you're a future sprinter or a blast-from-the-past jogger, this event is all about fun, fitness, family, and a little bit of funky flair. Costumes encouraged, time machines optional. Let’s run — one epic mile at a time!

The kid's dash is a fun, untimed dash for our kiddos ages 10 and under. Registration includes a mini bib, youth-sized t-shirt, and a specifically crafted medal for our kids' dash event! (If your child wants to run the kid's dash, and doesn't want the SWAG, they are welcome to run with us on race day for free!)

About Des Moines

Des Moines is the capital and most populous city in the U.S. state of Iowa. It is named after the Des Moines River, likely derived from the French Rivière des Moines meaning 'River of the Monks'. The city was incorporated in 1851 as Fort Des Moines and shortened to Des Moines in 1857. Its population was 214,133 at the 2020 census.
